The
Islamic Cell of IMWA met on 17th July to plan Ramadhan
Competition for the children of Indian schools. The
competition will have a variety of interesting programs for
young students starting from grade 1 to grade 12, divided in
5 groups, viz. A, B, C, D, and E. The program includes
Qur’an Recitation, Elocution Competition and Islamic Quiz.
This competition is popularly known as Late Abdullah

founder members of IMWA whose fond memories will ever
cherish in the deepest corners of the hearts of IMWA team.
This program is designed to facilitate maximum number of
students to participate in the competition and will be
conducted during the first week of Ramadhan, said Br.
Nooruddin Yusuf, the Convener of Islamic Cell.
Members of IMWA’s Educational Cell also met on 20th July and
chalked out some of the activities for children for the
current year. Activities like General Knowledge & Sports
Quiz and Scientific Visits to ideal locations will be held
for children of Indian Schools in Kuwait.
In the recent years with the advent of IT, the internet has
not only reached every home but also became inevitable for
the educational purposes. Keeping this in mind the
Educational Cell has plans to hold an educative session for
the parents on how to safeguard the use of internet by the
children of our community. During this session the parents
will be educated on monitoring, safe and effective use of
the internet in homes.

Message of the Vice President
I
feel privileged to send this message for the Indian Muslim
community living in Kuwait. It is a matter of great pleasure
that IMWA has started to publish a web based fortnightly -
The New VOICE of IMWA – just another pearl in the
crown of IMWA.
While congratulating the Mass Media Cell members, I pray
Almighty Allah that the fortnightly may flourish to spread
IMWA’s message to the masses.
Being an all India body, IMWA provides a platform for the
Muslim community living in Kuwait to come together to work
for the cause of humanity. It has been conducting value
based programs for all section of people living in Kuwait.
In promoting educational cause IMWA not only conducts
programs for school children but also supported students to
pursue professional courses back in India. IMWA has arranged
many Da’wa related lectures having invited both Indian and
western scholars to spread the lofty message of Islam
amongst the expatriates in Kuwait.
I take this opportunity to request Indian Muslims living in
Kuwait to join hands with IMWA to work together for the
benefit of Ummah.
The Qur’anic
Wisdom
Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving,
the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not
overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and
whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can
intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is
before them and what is behind them, and they cannot
comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He
pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the
earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and
He is the Most High, the Great.
- Qur'an, Al Baqarah: 255
The Prophetic
Wisdom
Narrated Abu Barzah al-Aslami: The Prophet (PBUH) said: O
community of people, who believed by their tongue, and
belief did not enter their hearts, do not back-bite Muslims,
and do not search for their faults, for if anyone searches
for their faults, Allah will search for his fault, and if
Allah searches for the fault of anyone, He disgraces him in
his house.
- Abu Dawud, Book 41, Number
4862
